Join us on Monday and Friday mornings at the Magnetawan Community Centre for Nordic Pole Walking. This is a great way to get some exercise and enjoy the outdoors. When using walking poles you will put less stress on your knees and spread the force to your shoulders, arms, back and core. This means your body is working more while feeling like you are working less. With Nordic walking you can burn up to 46% more calories compared to regular walking. The Municipality will provide walking poles or you can bring your own. Snowshoes are also available to borrow. Email email@example.com for more information.
