Be it resolved that the Council of the Municipality of Magnetawan appoint Garry Johnston for the term 2011 until the end of 2014 for the Magnetawan Community Center. Carried


Resolution no. 2011-117

Be it resolved that the Council of the Municipality of Magnetawan now enters a Closed Session pursuant to Section 239 (2) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S) 2001, Chapter 25 to Consider;
(a)__the Security of the property of the Municipality
(b)__personal matters about an identifiable including Municipal or local
board employees;
(c)__a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the
Municipality ;
(d) x Labour relations or employee negotiations;
(e)__litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative
tribunals, affecting the Municipality;
(f)__advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege. Including
communications necessary for that purpose;
(g)__a matter in respect of which a Council, Board, Committee or body may
hold a closed session meeting under another Act. Carried

Resolution no. 2011-120

Be it resolved that the Council of the Municipality of Magnetawan recognizes payment of cheques numbered 7013-7060 and approves the accounts as presented and circulated in the amount of: Roads (payroll and vouchers) $14,547.07 and Levies $369,221.86 and General Government (payroll and vouchers) $65,262.99; for a total of $449,031.92. Carried

Be it resolved that the Council of the Municipality of Magnetawan support the Women’s Resourse Center in the amount of  30 cents per permanent resident that lives in Magnetawan in the year of 2011. Carried

Be it resolved that the Council of the Municipality of Magnetawan adopts by-law No. 2011-13, being a by-law to renew the Ahmic Hall Fire Station Lease agreement, for a six month term, be read a first, second and final third time. Carried
