Be it resolved that the Clerk-Administrator be authorized to attend the Municipal Risk Management Symposium in Vaughan on September 10, 2013. Carried

Be it resolved that the Municipality of Magnetawan supports the efforts of the Township of Baldwin to have the Province of Ontario recognize the financial needs of small municipalities. Carried

Be it resolved that the Mayor and Clerk-Administrator be authorized to execute an agreement with the Ministry of Northern Development & Mines for Northern Communities Investment Readiness funding in the amount of $15,000. Carried

Be it resolved that Council accepts planning report dated August 6, 2013 from MHBC on zoning by-law provisions for temporary housing, and further that the Solicitor be authorized to prepare for Council consideration and approval the agreement required for the purpose of this By-law. Carried

Be it resolved that the Municipality of Magnetawan grants access to Blue Sky Net to municipal assessment data and property information in order to assess cellular and broadband coverage in Magnetawan; and further that this information will be used for the Asset Inventory, Market Study and Gap Analysis currently underway; and further, that this is at no cost to the Municipality of Magnetawan.Carried

Be it resolved that Council recognizes payment of cheques numbered 10470 to 10536 and approve the accounts in the amount of:


Roads – payroll and vouchers                                       $144,936.01
