Whereas, the Association of Municipal Managers, Clerks and Treasurers of Ontario (AMCTO), the Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, and the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO), acknowledge and celebrate the significant role that municipal governments play in helping to define the character, priorities, physical make up, and quality of life of communities across Ontario;

Be it resolved that the Municipality of Magnetawan recognizes the week of October 19th, 2014 as Local Government Week in Ontario. Carried

B010/14 Magnetawan-Croft-Keck lot addition; and further that the Central Almaguin Planning Board be requested to include provisions of Planning By-laws no. 2011-11 and 2011-16 and user fees/charges by-law 2009-29 in its conditions of approval. Carried

B011/14-Highway 510/Wilson/Smith lot addition; and that the provisions of Planning By-laws 2011-11, 2011-16 and 2009-29 for service charges be part of the conditions of approval of the Central Almaguin Planning Board, and further that the rezoning of the severed lands to Rural Residential also be a condition of consent.
