MINOR VARIANCE APPLICATION
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TAKE NOTICE THAT the Committee of Adjustment for The Corporation of the Municipality of Magnetawan (the “Committee”) will be considering the following proposed minor variance to Zoning By-law 2001-26, under Section 45 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13.

THE PURPOSE of the Application is: to permit the building of a boathouse having a width of 9.75 m (32 ft) that will exceed the maximum width of 25% of the lot frontage, which for this parcel is equal to 8.5 metres (28 feet).
THE EFFECT of the Application is: to permit a boathouse maximum width of 29%, which for this parcel is equal to 9.75 metres (32 feet), an increase of 1.2 metres (4 feet).

ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the proposed Minor Variance.
If a person or a public body that files an appeal of a decision of the Committee of the Adjustment does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Committee before the proposed Variance is considered by the Committee, the Ontario Municipal Board may dismiss all or part of the appeal.
THE WRITTEN NOTICE OF THE DECISION of this Application is available upon request to the Municipality.
