Canadian 24-Hour Movement Guidelines for Adults

Updated

An Integration of Physical Activity, Sedentary Behaviour and Sleep

These guidelines were developed by the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology, the Public Health Agency of Canada, Queen's University, ParticipACTION, and a network of researchers and stakeholders from across Canada. They offer a clear direction on what a healthy 24 hours looks like for Canadian adults aged 18-64 years and 65 years or older. This approach doesn't just focus on a single movement behaviour, but looks at how they all integrate together.
