The Municipality of Magnetawan is a single tier municipality located in the Parry Sound District.  The Municipality of Magnetawan is made up of the former Village of Magnetawan, Village of Ahmic Harbour and Townships of Croft, Chapman and Spence.

The Municipality is governed by an elected 5 Member Council consisting of a Mayor, Deputy Mayor and 3 Councillors.
