The Municipality of Magnetawan strives to provide excellent services to the public and to continuously improve Municipal operations and service standards. This policy ensures that all complaints will be investigated in a fair manner and allows the Municipality to address program and service delivery concerns promptly.


We encourage all members of the public to speak with Municipal departments or staff members regarding any concerns they may have. If the issue is not satisfactorily resolved, please review By-law 2016-16 Complaint Policy.

What is a Complaint?

A complaint is an expression of dissatisfaction related to a Municipal program, service, facility, or staff member, where a member of the public believes that the Municipality has not provided an adequate service experience to the customer's satisfaction at the point of service delivery, where a response or resolution is expected.

Process of Filing a Complaint

When a frontline solution cannot be achieved, members of the public can fill out a complaint form and it can be submitted to the CAO/Clerk     The form must be filled out in its entirety. If you would prefer to send it by mail, please mail it to the Municipal Office.
