Located where Ahmic Lake connects with the Magnetawan River at the site of the beautiful Knoepfli Rapids.  It's an easy three-hour drive from Toronto.

Rates include cabin as well as three meals per day taken in the dining room located in the main lodge.  

The accommodations are rustic but comfortable. The dining room is located in the main lodge and cabins are located on the lake or river side of the property.

The cabins either face Ahmic Lake or the Magnetawan River.  The cabins are one, two or four bedrooms in size. Each cabin has parking beside the cabin.

The Magnetawan LCBO is a government-operated liquor store that provides a wide selection of beer, wine, spirits, and ready-to-drink beverages.

Magnetawan Bait & Tackle is a locally owned and operated general store and sporting goods shop. Serving the Almaguin Highlands and Parry Sound region for over 40 years, it acts as a comprehensive one-stop shop for anglers, cottagers, and outdoor enthusiasts.

Magnetawan Maple offers Amber and Dark wood fired maple syrup products. 

Magnetawan Maple was established in 2021. The sugar shack at the farm is a busy place during late March and early April as the evaporator is fired up to produce amazing maple syrup. The maple tree sugar sand (called nitre) is filtered out of the hot syrup before bottling. The sugar sand is used in our handmade soaps and makes for a smooth and silky soap.  

Where to purchase product: All products can be purchased at the Magnetawan market from May long weekend until Thanksgiving on Saturdays from 10-1 at the Lion’s pavilion in Magnetawan. Products also available at various local businesses in the Almaguin area and can be picked up at the farm if prearrangements are made. 

At Maijac Cottages and Marine, come and enjoy our quiet, tranquil setting as you sit, relax, and watch the wonderful sunsets across beautiful Lake Cecebe. Each cottage has a view of the lake. Have a game of cornhole or go for a walk through the bunny trail. At night, enjoy the central fire pit on the beach. Converse with old friends or make some new ones. We have a beautiful sandy beach, children’s playground, and offer boat rentals for fishing on our extensive waterway between Magnetawan and Burk’s Falls.

All our cottages have fully equipped kitchens including a full-sized fridge and stove, all dishes, cooking utensils, coffee makers and microwaves, as well as 3-piece bath, electric heat, blankets and pillows. All water is supplied by a drilled well and fresh for drinking. We also provide outdoor chairs, picnic tables, umbrellas and gas barbecues. Depth and fishing maps of Lake Cecebe are available to our fishermen and guests. The average depth of Lake Cecebe is 16 feet with holes up to 60 feet. Bait, tackle and complete accessories (fishing licenses etc.) are all available in the area, within a ten-minute drive of the resort.
