The use of Fireworks is also regulated in the Municipality of Magnetawan under 2023-40 Noise By-law

Planning an event on your property that will involve amplified noise such as Fireworks?

Don’t forget to apply for a Noise Exemption at least sixty (60) days prior to the event where the Fireworks are being used.

Exemptions to 2023-40 Noise By-law 

3.1 (e) Sound arising from fireworks on these specific days: Victoria Day, Memorial Day, Canada Day, Independence Day, Civic Holiday, and Labour Day before 11:59 p.m.

3.1 (h) Any sound arising from Municipal Events.

During a FIRE RATING of EXTREME HAZARD there is a TOTAL BAN ON FIREWORKS!

USING CONSUMER FIREWORKS 

  
 Part 16 of the Explosives Regulations, 2013 provides additional safety rules for consumer fireworks.
